Capturing this family at their golf course in Chelmsford was truly a dream. What began as a session quickly turned into something more—a glimpse into a legacy built on love, family, and community.

As they showed me around their golf course, it became clear that this space holds more than just memories—it carries generations. We weren’t just documenting a family as they are today, but honouring those who came before them, and celebrating the continuation of something deeply meaningful.

There was so much intention in the little moments—quiet glances, laughter, the way they naturally came together. It wasn’t hard to feel the depth of their connection, not only to each other, but to everyone around them.

I immediately felt welcomed, like a small part of something much bigger. It was truly an honour to spend time with this family and document their story last fall in Chelmsford, just outside of Sudbury in Northern Ontario.

I’ve never witnessed a love quite like theirs. The way Mom and Dad look at each other—so full of warmth, history, and quiet passion—left me completely in awe.

It’s the kind of love that only deepens over time, through building a life together, raising a family, and pouring so much of themselves into the people around them. The way they love their children, their customers, and even their animals is such a beautiful reflection of just how big their hearts truly are.

I found myself thinking… if love can look like this years down the line—steady, soft, and still so full of feeling—what a beautiful thing that is.
